All sales are final. By engaging Arielle Executive, clients acknowledge that fees are for personalised consultancy services and as such are non-refundable. Once payment has been made, our work begins. There are no refunds.
Preparation For Consultation.
We take your booking seriously, and we know that you do too. We prepare for your session, and to achieve optimum results, it’s important that you also do.
As a boutique business, we service a limited number of clients each week. When you do not prepare for consultation, it reduces our time available to service other clients, adversely affecting our business. In these cases, a second consultation must be arranged to garner the relevant information from you.
If your consultation needs to go beyond the 1.5 to 2 hour consultation that was allocated, specifically due to a lack of preparation on your part, we may charge you on an hourly basis for additional consulting fees.
It is our expectation that you will be clear on your career direction once we commence the branding process. If you require assistance in clarifying your direction, you must let us know PRIOR to consultation. This way we will have the time to arrange a Strategic Career Coaching session for you.
If you do not advise us prior, if you aren’t sure of your direction once you are in your Brand Discovery Consultation and request to reschedule, or if we find that we need to guide you to a decision which takes extra consultation time and hence constitutes a Strategic Career Coaching session, we will charge you for this session. This session fee will need to be paid prior to release of documents.
If you choose not to undertake our Strategic Career Coaching session and request to reschedule less than 72 hours from the time of your consultation in order to decide on your direction, you will be charged a reschedule fee of $550.
If you proceed with your consultation, and change the direction that was agreed upon following consultation (or following receipt of your first draft), we may charge you additionally for expansion of scope for the additional work associated with this.
Your Brand Discovery Consultation with us is a 1.5 to 2 hour discussion, held over the phone, about your career history and your commercial value to the market. This is where we will get to know the ins and outs of where your expertise sits, as well as who you are as a person, in order for us to be able to weave a clear and cohesive narrative around your expertise which highlights your own unique value proposition and aligns all this to your next step.
We dive into your background strategically to garner the necessary information from you in order to position your experience as a fit for your intended direction. This conversation needs to be targeted to be effective, and it is important that you allow this session to be steered and guided by your consultant for maximum results.
We appreciate that you will have questions that you’ll want to cover. Some of these questions, however, must be reserved for the coaching portion of your package, and others will require additional coaching to be purchased as an add on product, if time does not allow within your package.
Topics that will not be covered during your Brand Discovery Consultation, as they do not pertain to the branding work that comes from this consultation, are:
How to discuss difficult exits;
How to talk about roles that are a blemish or could be seen as a digression from your career to date;
Spinning negative experiences into positives;
Maternity leave / age discrimination / career breaks / unfair dismissals – with respect to framing this for recruiters;
Discussing situations where you left a role without another one to go to, and how to position this verbally;
General interview coaching conversations;
General questions about recruiters and recruitment processes.
Please note, following consultation, we may need to send you further targeted and very specific questions via email. This may arise in the following circumstances, though is not limited to these situations:
to ensure that we garner the necessary information in order to build your brand i.e. answers to questions that you may not have had on hand for your session such as quantifiable data to support your achievements;
to scope out your extra-curricular activities i.e. publications, voluntary experience, board appointments, outside of core profiling work.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you revert to your consultant in an efficient manner. Please be aware that not doing so may delay the production of your documents beyond our 5 business day turnaround, as this information is required in order to craft your brand.
Our standard consulting hours are after business hours, to enable you, our client, to communicate with us without interruption.
Your engagement with us is a 20 business day engagement from the date of initial consultation. By day 20, you will have received your entire package. It is important that we maintain these timeframes.
Day 0: Consultation 1.5-2 hours.
Day 5: (1 week) Document first draft issued in Microsoft Word format and sent to you via email. This date is pending any outstanding information required from you. If additional information is required from you following the consultation, we expect your prompt and timely response.
Day 15: (3 weeks) Final version cut off. You must have submitted your initial round 1 edits and approved your Consultant’s 2nd round of edits for finalisation within this timeframe. Once you are happy with your LinkedIn content, you will need to copy and paste it onto the platform yourself.
Day 20: (4 weeks) 30-min Coaching Call completed and Elevator Pitch OR Executive Biography completed.
The Edits Process.
We recommend that you take a couple of days to review the first drafts of your professional brand. This will allow your thoughts regarding your brand to settle, so that you use your 2 sets of edits to their fullest potential.
Your final piece of feedback is to be provided to your Consultant no later than 8 business days following the receipt of your first draft. Delivery of edits will require a 2 business day turnaround.
If a cover letter forms a part of your package, it’s important to decide the type of cover letter you’d like prior to consultation.
You have a number of options for this. Please advise Arielle Executive PRIOR to your consultation which option you prefer. You will not be able to change your mind after your consultation (i.e. once work has commenced).
Targeted Cover Letter: A targeted letter is a fantastic option if you have identified a specific role that you want to apply for. It will address the core criteria/skills and competencies outlined in the position description/job advertisement and will include a tailored reason for your application.
Role type Cover Letter: A cover letter aimed towards a specific role type (e.g. HR Director) will provide you with a document that you can use for the majority of your applications. It will match your experience against the commonly required criteria, skills and competencies of your chosen direction and provide you with a template for including your reason for applying.
Speculative Cover Letter: A speculative letter is an introductory letter to explore possible opportunities within an organisation that highlights your key strengths, competencies and signature achievements. It will provide you with an excellent base for a cover letter if you haven’t identified a role type yet.
Please note that responses to Selection Criteria & Targeted Questions for Public Sector roles need to be quoted for separately.
30-Minute Coaching Call.
Your 30-min coaching call is to be held between day 15 and 20 of your engagement with us. It is your responsibility to keep your appointments with us. Please note that our consultations book out several weeks in advance.
If you reschedule this coaching call within 72 hours, there is a chance that we will not be able to find you a time within the engagement period. Cancelling within 72 hours of your consultation time will incur a $350 rescheduling fee. If you do not pay the $350 fee, you will forfeit your complimentary coaching call.
We require 72 business hours’ notice for rescheduling of consultations and photo shoots. During the months of December and January, we require 7 business days’ notice.
Failure to give the required notice will result in a $550 cancellation fee. Consultation, coaching session or photo shoot will not take place until the fee is paid in full.
Sickness, work, emergencies and unexpected events will still incur the scheduled cancellation fee, unfortunately there can be no exceptions.
After Sales Support.
If you don’t receive traction (positive responses to your applications) to your new brand once you start the job-seeking process, we encourage you to reach out to us to let us know.
You must be able to provide examples of your applications; specifically the role link and version of your application (both cover letter and resume) that you sent out. You must have made at least 5 applications, where you applied and have been rejected without receiving any contact from the recruiter. Importantly, you must have sought feedback on why you were rejected, by contacting the recruiter.
If you can provide us with 5 examples of rejections to your applications where you did not receive a positive response or invitation to discuss further, we will be able to work with you to resolve these issues.
If you received a positive response or invitation to discuss further from the recruiter after making an application but it did not progress beyond this, this does not constitute a rejection to your resume or brand.
If you had difficulty representing your brand in conversation or did not pass the initial screening, this should not be confused as a concern with your brand. We can advise on this – of course – however it’s important to note that this falls outside of the scope of works, and for a best possible outcome, it will be prudent to consider your interview technique. If you’d like to receive additional coaching, there will be an associated cost.
It’s important to note that you will need to apply for role types that were discussed as appropriate during consultation, as this is what your brand will be purposely-built to align to. If you decide that you wish to apply for roles outside of the scope for which your brand was built for in your initial engagement, and would like assistance in getting an interview for those roles, we would then charge you additionally for required amendments as this again falls outside the scope of work.
Please note career transformation work (moving to a different role type entirely / different industry) doesn’t qualify for our After Sales Support. Traction, if you’re transitioning to a different career path, will sit with your ability to build the right relationships, to have the right conversations, and to effectively portray your value.
You need to, in effect, convince the listener in your ability to transition seamlessly, so that they choose you over a fully qualified and experienced candidate in the field who will be able to hit the ground running. The brand we build for you in this regard is a starting point. Not achieving success in transitioning does not constitute a problem with the brand we build for you.
We will build you a strong, commercially viable and unique brand and value proposition, realigning your experience to your future direction. Your role, will nevertheless be to go in and pitch your case, and the importance of this pitch is not to be downplayed.
Additional Coaching Hours.
Our consulting arrangement will cease following the provision of all products. If you require assistance to align your career assets for specific roles after you have finalised your documents, would like interview advice, or if you would like to ask us about your suitability for certain roles, we are happy to provide you with this advice at an additional charge.
Please let us know and we will provide you with a quotation. If further consultation is required, additional charges apply.
