Although the job world and the world we live in has significantly evolved in recent years, the resume hasn’t quite progressed as far. The purpose of a resume is obvious:

It helps get you the job.

And even though our means of communication have expanded drastically, the resume often remains that well-known, several page document, with black and white text which is now being emailed to prospective employers instead of being hand-delivered.

Most changes to date have been cosmetic, and I would love to see HR Managers and Recruiters in times to come, more open to accepting changes in format, making use of the amazing technology we have at our fingertips such as video, websites & blogs, well-executed infographics etc.
